About Ngozi Chukwugbo Foundation
Why Ngozi Chukwugbo Foundation exists
The Ngozi Chukwugbo Foundation is a registered Nigerian nonprofit inspired by Ngozi’s life and values. We advance education, healthcare, sustainable community development, and cultural preservation to improve lives and create opportunities for all.
Our mission
We advance education, healthcare, sustainable community development, and cultural preservation, working alongside communities to expand access to knowledge, care, skills, and opportunity.
Our vision
At the centre of our long-term vision is a university that provides practical, applicable education and contributes meaningfully to society.
Who we serve
We focus on children, young people, and women whose access to education and opportunity is limited.
Guided by LEAD
The philosophy behind the plan
Learn. Empower. Aspire. Develop. This framework guides NCF's four current programmes and shapes the long-term vision.
Learn
Education, knowledge, and cultural study: the starting point of every Ngozi Chukwugbo Foundation programme.
Empower
Healthcare access, entrepreneurship, and the practical tools people need to act on what they have learned.
Aspire
Mentorship and opportunity for young people, so ambition has somewhere to go.
Develop
Enterprise, infrastructure, and institutions that can outlast any single programme.

How NCF works
Core focus areas and objectives
Four areas of work that address today’s needs and advance NCF’s vision for sustainable development.
-
Education & Enterprise
Education and Enterprise Development
We identify skills gaps, run entrepreneurship workshops for young people, award scholarships, and link learners with local MSMEs for internships. Our goal is to give young people the knowledge, experience, and support to build sustainable livelihoods.
-
Healthcare
Healthcare
NCF's long-term vision includes a research institute that would work with local traditional practitioners to study traditional herbal remedies alongside conventional practice. Community programmes may include mobile health units, mental-health awareness, health education workshops, and nutrition initiatives.
-
Community & Sustainable Living
Community Development and Sustainable Living
The programme includes skills development, vocational training, mentorship, career guidance, entrepreneurship support, digital literacy, and financial education. The long-term vision also includes road maintenance, rural bridges, and tree planting, including bamboo, for host communities and the future university.
-
Culture & Heritage
Cultural Renaissance
We document, preserve, and promote language, history, and arts through oral-history projects, youth language classes, cultural festivals, and publications on folklore and traditional governance. Cultural exchanges, language-preservation activities, and youth-centred literacy workshops help carry this work forward.
